Project Overview
Smedley Co was proud to support O&G Industries on the I-91, I-691, and Route 15 Interchange Bridge Replacement Project in Meriden, CT. This large-scale infrastructure project focused on replacing aging bridge structures and expanding traffic capacity to improve safety and flow at one of Connecticut’s busiest interchanges.
Our Role
As part of the night operations, Smedley Co deployed two of our heavy-duty all terrain cranes to raise and set massive steel beams for the new bridge. Working overnight ensured minimal disruption to daytime traffic while meeting the project’s strict scheduling requirements. Our team coordinated closely with O&G’s crews, ensuring every lift was executed with precision, efficiency, and the highest safety standards.
